The
name could not be more appropriate, as the Pleasure Boat Inn is situated
right next to a point on the northern edge of Hickling Broad where the
boats of holidaymakers tie up. |

The main part of the inn dates back to the 17th century, and the later additions are in happy harmony. |
|
The Inn presents
a cheerful, flower-decked face in the spring and summer, and the bar and
lounge are delightful places to relax with a drink while enjoying the
river view. There are also plenty of seats outside to take even better advantage of the splendid setting in our Beer Garden. |
| The Staff will
give you a very warm welcome, whether it be for a Chat, a Pint of Beer or
a Meal. Sunday Lunches are a must at £3.95, with a choice of 3 Meats, taken in our restaurant, overlooking the water, or in the Bar area. |

| The restaurant is located in the recent extension and its more modern look blends well with the rural feel in the lounge. | ![]() |
Food is served every session, and the chef changes the menu frequently to make use the best local, seasonal ingredients he can find. Fish & chips is a great favourite, but everything is good. |

The pub offers
several real ales, both resident and guests from smaller local breweries. Also a Bar Menu is available with a daily speciality board |
