PARISH COUNCIL CHAIRMAN'S
REPORT -
OCTOBER 2009
We have now filled the last parish councillor vacancy by co-opting Mr
N Baker who will join the council at the next parish council meeting,
we hope he will enjoy his time on the council.
Norfolk County council Trading Standards has launched a ‘Trusted
Trader Scheme’ aimed at helping people avoid cowboys when buying
services from local trades people and businesses, more then 400 trader
& businesses feature in the directory.
Residents wanting information on the Trusted Trader Scheme can visit the
website at www.norfolk.gov.uk/trustedtrader or request a copy of the directory
by calling
Consumer Direct on 08454 040506.
The Chapel Pond conservation group are having a CLEAR UP day on Saturday
21st November, this is to clear weeds and vegetation from around the pond
area.
Some refreshments will be provided but please bring your own tools etc.
It will start at 9am till ? but ALL ARE WELCOME at any time for as long
or short a time as you wish.
Many thanks to the existing band of volunteers but more are always welcomed.

The next Parish Council meeting is on Monday 2nd
November at 7.15pm, in the Community Hall.
