PARISH CHAIRMAN'S REPORT MARCH 2009
Eric (HEARA) updated everyone on the current situation and informed us that they have a meeting with Nick Herbert MR Secretary of State for the Environment, Food and Rural Affairs, to be confirmed shortly. The delay in publishing the Natural England report suggests "they" are making sure the shambles of the last year are not repeated.
As Eric said, "We are still in there and fighting!".

A questionnaire about building a new Community Centre on the recreation ground will be delivered to every household in the village in the next few days.
Although this issue was included in the Parish Plan in 2006, it was felt that opinions may have changed since then, new people have moved into the village, and we have been granted planning permission.
This questionnaire will assist in obtaining funding, if required.
It is important that your view is heard, so please complete the questionnaire.
If you need help in this task, please contact either the Chairman or Clerk.

The Broadland Flood Alleviation Project is holding a public exhibition in Acle on 7th April.
Please see notices on the village notice boards.

Chairman, Viv Tallowin, 598410
Clerk, Shiriey Sainsbury, 598882
