| CHAIRMAN'S
REPORT FEBURARY 2006 The Village Plan Questionnaire is at the printers and should be ready for delivery to each household in the village after 8th March. The questionnaires will be hand-delivered by volunteers who will also arrange the collection of the completed forms at a specified time. There will be no record of which responses or which form comes from which household. The only thing to be published on the check box items will be scores for the village as a whole. We hope you will do your utmost to complete the questionnaire, as the final results will give an overview of how parishioners would like the village to evolve over the coming 5-10 years. If you require help completing any questions, your volunteer will be happy to help you or phone Viv Tallowin on 598410 or Shirley Chapman on 598882. The Stalham & Happing meeting on 30th January was very well supported. Michael Castle and John Hare of Stalham & Happing gave an insight into the facilities and funding that are available to everybody, not only organisations. The Stalham & Happing office in Stalham is open daily for people to call into for more information or advice on local issues. We still require more volunteers for grass-cutting this season - the more the merrier and easier for everyone involved. Please phone Viv Tallowin on 598410, Shirley Chapman on 598882, or David Pugh on 598691 if you can spare a couple of hours per month. The Mobile Police Unit's next visit is to the Chapel Car-Park on Friday, 7th April from 10.15-12.30pm. The March visit will not take place due to unforeseen circumstances. The next Parish Council meeting is on Monday, 6th March at 7.15pm in the Community Hall. Please look for posters around the village with dates for the April meeting and the upcoming Annual Parish meeting. Viv Tallowin, Chairman 598410 |
